School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of the Irving Elementary school counseling program is for every child to receive and build the academic, social, and career skills necessary to succeed. This is achieved through individualized, data-informed practices and interventions that allow every student the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through collaboration with administration, teachers, staff and parents, all students and stakeholders will have equitable access, within a safe and supportive educational environment, to the school counseling program where they will develop the skills, knowledge and behaviors necessary to thrive in the classroom and society.
